Special Tour

Season: March, April, May, June, July, August, Sep, Oct and Nov

Bird watching in Bhutan can be done March to November. This is a good time when most birds migrate from the south to the high lands. Some of the best places to do bird watching is in Wangduephodrang, Punakha, Trongsa and Zhemgang. Bhutan is recognized as one of the global biodiversity hot spots. Its extensive natural environment, accounting for more than 70% forest coverage, is home to a huge variety of flora and fauna. This has been the result of a conscious choice the government made ever since the start of the planned development. Not only has the state enshrined environment as the country’s most precious wealth in its Constitution, but has also committed to remain carbon neutral for all times to come for the sake of the environment. Today, dozens of national parks and wildlife sanctuaries, covering almost 26% of the total land, stand testimony to this political will.

" Bhutan is one of the most attractive destinations worldwide, not only for all nature lovers, but also for people interested in cultural and historical trips. While organizing next groups in the future, we are going to cooperate closely with our exclusive partner – Wangchuk Tours and Treks.
Thank you very much."
